In addition to its numerous clients under contract that already distribute the company's titles in database and electronic distribution channels worldwide, Electronic & Database Publishing, Inc, (E&DP,) recently announced it is in the final stages of negotiations with Sony, Inc., to add Sony as E&DP's newest client and electronic publishing partner.
During this most recent round-of-negotiations between the two firms, terms were finalized and E&DP stated a licensing contract should be finalized and entered into within the near future. Under the anticipated plan E&DP's library of titles will quickly become available for Sony's highly touted 'Portable Reader Systems' eBook Platform.
This association with Sony will expand even further the reach of E&DP’s books around-the-world, vis-à-vis users of Sony's Portable Reader Systems, and E&DP will be among the first publishers to sign on with Sony for the licensing of their books. The partnership will allow for a timely and early delivery of E&DP's library of books within Sony's sales and distribution channels thus maximizing potential exposure and resulting sales of E&DP's hundreds of books and other copyrighted materials.
